A Monday afternoon wreck sent a woman and a teenager to the hospital and a dog dressed as Santa Claus back into the loving arms of its owner.
Around 1:15 on Monday,
Dec. 22, a 2002 Dodge Durango driven by Winter Phoenix, 35, of Columbus attempted to pass a a 2001 silver Maxima driven Annie Blevins, 55, also of Columbus, as the car was attempting to make a left turn onto Stinson Creek Road.
Phoenix’s vehicle collided with the left side of Blevin’s car.
Phoenix and an unidentified 13-year-old female were transported by ambulance to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle with minor injuries.
