Back to the County for Packet All Star

all starColumbus ne’er do well Kalyn Paige Weber is back in trouble, and this time she brought a friend. Celebrating her third arrest in under a year, Weber brought her usual antics to the table.
An agent with the Mississippi Narcotics Bureau pulled over a white Honda Accord on 8th Ave. N near 20th St. after the car failed to stop at an intersection.  Driving the vehicle was 18-year-old Victoria Hunter Slayton.  20-year-old Weber, who owns the vehicle, rode shotgun.
Noting that the young women were acting suspiciously, the agent called for additional officers before searching the vehicle.  CPD Officers Vincent Samuel and Lamar Peacock responded to the scene to assist.
In the search, Weber was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.  Slayton, on top of the traffic violation, had no driver’s license.  Additionally, a small number of pills were found in her wallet.  The females were taken into custody by the CPD officers.
Upon stepping out of the Honda, Weber’s usual lovely demeanor shone through.  Upon spotting the Packet reporter (coincidentally the same reporter who covered her previous drug arrest), Weber let loose with a string of profanities.  Starting with an, “Oh hell naw!”, she made her opinions known.  Eloquent as always, Weber’s shining statement was, “You mothaf***in’, c***suckin’, mothaf***in’ b**ch!” (while holding her jacket over her head).
Slayton chimed in with, “Don’t be takin’ my picture!”
After yelling for several minutes, both girls started playing to the camera, sticking out their tongues and flashing their middle fingers.
When it was pointed out that Kalyn Weber would be making a return to the pages of the Packet, one of the officers on scene commented, “Hey, doesn’t that make you an All Star?” [Yes it does. – JD] For Weber, this arrest comes quick on the heels of a nearly-month-long stint at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.  The Dec. 2012 arrest, for a Contempt of Court charge was in relation to her arrest at the Princess Theater in April.  In that arrest, Weber was charged with the possession of marijuana and several Xanax. [The incident was printed in Packet #980. – JD] In the following issue (#981), we printed a poorly worded letter from Miss Weber, in which she denied the events of the night.  Only time will tell if she has it in her to write one more letter.

Now you know why they called that area Pig Alley, after the infamous whorehouse district in Paris, Rue Pigalle. Ms. Weber’s absence is puzzling. Maybe she went back to stay with a sick aunt in Texas for the past nine months.

Maybe Colin can convince Maurice atop that balcony to give us a bird’s eye view of the goings-on down on Pig Alley and post them to the Packet? These new, hi-tech game cameras are great for after hours filming.

You’d think the packet would have better things to talk about instead of a young 20 year old girl and a small possession of marijuana charge. Really? That’s hardly worth creating an enormous story about, much less front page material. Y’all can do better than that…
