Packet All-Star Arrested for 25th Time

Stewart Had 27 Outstanding Warrants

Officers Lee and Luckey taking Stewart into custody as he complains of back pain

Columbus Police Department Warrant Officers Lance Luckey and Kelvin Lee arrested repeat offender Eugene Stewart Monday morning. Stewart had 27 warrants out for his arrest.
Luckey and Lee were attempting to serve the warrants on the northside of the Master Host Inn when Stweart became violent. Stewart initially refused to exit his Navy Blue Metallic Chevy Mailibu and drawing his Taser, Luckey repeatedly told Stewart to exit the car, yelling, “Open the window! Open the window! We’re going to Tase you if you don’t open the window!” The officers managed to get Stewart out of the car when he fell to the ground, screaming “My back! My back! I just got in an 18 wheeler accident a couple weeks ago! You’re hurting my back!”
[I have been present at no less than three of Mr. Stewart’s arrests in recent past and at all three he made sure to tell officers that he was “just in” an 18 wheeler wreck “a few weeks ago.” CK]

Stewart has been arrested 25 times since 2004. His vast charges include possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, domestic violence, aggravated assault, driving under the influence, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of burglary tools, no drivers license, no tag, no proof of insurance, child restraint law and speeding. Bonds for each of the 27 warrants totaled $21,948. As of press time Wednesday evening, Stewart was still in the Lowndes County jail.

how many felony convictions does this guy have? if he has two separate convictions with separate sentences, he can be an habitual offender for a felony. If one of the prior felonies is a violent crime, he can be a “big” habitual offender and get life without parole assuming Haley Barbour doesn’t return.

Why is there no mention that Stewart is a native of Crawford, that lawless Hole-In-the-wall town where criminals promenade along the streets right under the noses of the LCSO and the local “judiciary?”

One wonders what sort of “cargo” that Stewart might have been hauling– given that he was in possession of burglary tools–in that 18-wheeler. I’m sure that the “new” LCSO doesn’t have a clue and Tony Cooper wouldn’t even think to ask.

Way to go Officers Luckey and Lee!!! Great job!!!!

Johnny Phillip Morris, you got some nerve! But I am glad to see that you dont show prejudice, you will talk bad about anyone! Thats ok! I just have one word for you, KARMA!!! What goes around, comes around!! I just hope I get to be a fly on the wall…

He sounds like a very upstanding citizen of “The Friendly Crime City” LoL. Good Job for taking another thug off the streets. Now u have got to take it to the next level and give him a nice long vacation in jail.

The next step would be to find who is fencing his stolen goods. That is NOT happening. It’s not going to happen.

It’s like all these high profile “possession” takedowns, but the bigtime druglords drive around in their Escalades, grinning from ear to ear.

Re-listening to Chuck Berry’s No Money Down, he was quite the visionary…predicting mobile phones, fuel-injected/turbocharged engines(an engine with a “jet-off take”), wire-chromed wheels and zero interest, no money down financing by the auto industry.

There was more to Chuck Berry than those photos with him posing naked with white women.

Were Kid Sheeleen alive today, he’d probably be rotting away forever at GITMO..charged as an enemy combatant, robbed of due process and denied a trial before a jury of his peers.
