Letter to the Editor – J.M. Gilliam

Dear Editor,

Jeff Smith vs. Jack Larmour – Which would voters prefer?

An honest, hard-working candidate, new to the Republican party who has been getting things done in the Legislature to benefit the people back home since 1992? Or – a candidate who calls himself the REAL Republican but lacks honesty and ability? Even Mr. Larmour’s campaign seems beyond his control.

First, the fake “NRA endorsement letter”, which Jack’s wife explained by saying they “didn’t read” the ad before placing it in the dispatch. How is that going to float inn the House? Will Jack sign bills without reading them?

Now, Jack’s ad in Sunday’s paper says that Jeff wrote and anti-gun bill? Come on, Why would the NRA give Jeff their endorsement if he had done that? Mr. Larmour needs to get his facts straight. Unless a candidate truly believes he can do a better job for the people than his opponent, the right thing to do is to drop out and support the better man.

Even though Jeff has the Real endorsement of the NSA (as well as MS Right to Life and Mark Baker, Republican minority leader of the House), Jack’s business, called Fork in the Road, has my endorsement for processing deer meat. He does an excellent job at that.

Sincerely,

J.M. Gilliam

  1. Right Choice

I agree with you Mr. Gilliam. Until you get to the fork n road deer processing part. I have had very bad experience there as well as many of my friends. I dont think he is a “Real” processor and does not have that much experience as a deer processor. Jeff Smith is the Right Choice!!

This Jack Larmour character has really crossed the line. The ad Gilliam talks about brings to the fore front that Larmour has actively engaged in lying in advertising. This is criminal conduct under the Mississippi election code. If Larmour wants to be a criminal, fine. I wouldn’t be surprised if a warrant was issued for his arrest and/or formal charges filed against him.

    TI,

Don’t forget that everyone involved in Larmour’s campaign of fraud is liable under those laws for criminal penalties. This is on top of all the civil penalties for the tortious liability they have created. I hope they have some good lawyers.

That ad was unbelievable by Larmour. Either he doesn’t know how to read the bills he cited or he is outright lying. Hmmmmm, chose between a liar or a moron….I choose neither. I don’t want to see Mr. Larmour arrested, but I guess if you lie and break the law, you have to pay the piper.

I hope this election turns out like the poll did in the paper. I don’t see how even 20% of the public can vote for a fraud, but I guess we’ll see.
