Ruby Steele Henley, 97, passed away, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Community Hospice-Darlington Oaks, in Verona. Ruby Steele Henley was born December 23, 1913 in Chickasaw County Mississippi to the late Ollie Carter Pate and Raymond L. Steele. Mrs. Henley was a seamstress for Knickerbocker Manufacturing Company for 30 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating, burial will follow. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, Charles H. Henley, Jr. (Pamelia) of Loxley, AL, Jessie Lee Henley (Sue) of Brewer, James A. Henley (Brenda) of Prairie; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Ramona Dees of Houston, TX.
Pallbearers will be George Knox, Chester Powers, Wayne Crosswhite, Billy Barnette, Dennis Pettit, Barry Vanlandingham, and James Crump.

Visitation will be Friday, 10:45 a.m. at the graveside until service time.
