In regards to your reply to Ms Peaks letter of your article on my husband Cory Leverette on Oct 21st, I must say that I have yet to voice my feelings. Nor has any other family member to my knowledge, contrary to your reply. My husband had other health problems, besides drinking, although he was drinking at the time of the accident, only God knows the cause of the accident. It is always presumed that if someone is drinking, that, that is the cause. If my husband had drank one beer or ten, or had a seizure, due to his history of seizures, that you failed to be aware of, the actual cause remains unknown. Therefore you took it upon yourself to be his judge and say It was directly related. You were in no way justified on your report, whether his criminal background be true or not. It served NO purpose. It only brought more grief to his family and friends. I would like to say that the SO CALLED FRIEND at M&M trailer park who claimed to be a friend, why didnt he drive him home safely? You addressed my husband as if he were the only one in this town who drank and drove. I do not appreciate that and if you are unaware, let me be the first to tell you, that when you stand before God on judgment day, you will be held accountable for all you say and do. The letters that you print may sell your papers, but I can assure you they will not hold up for you when you stand before God. If you were not trying to magnify our pain, my question to you is, what exactly did you think the article would do?
