Devon Denise Crenshaw “Dee” Duncan, age 59, of Caledonia, MS, passed away December 26, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Rev. Ben Butler officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, December 28, 2010, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Duncan was born March 17, 1951, in Memhis, TN, to the late Billy and Charlotte Easley Crenshaw. She was a graduate of Hillcrest High School of Memphis, TN, and worked for many years at Maxium Medical Supply of Columbus. Mrs. Duncan attended Flint Hill Methodist Church and enjoyed baking, cross stitching, and was a long time member of “Stitchers With Status.” In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Berberich, and brother, Craig Crenshaw.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Avery Duncan, Jr. of Caledonia, MS, brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Dale Crenshaw of Keswick, VA, step children, Kelly Duncan and Casey Duncan of Fulton, MS, and Natalie (Tony) Mulligan of Columbus, MS, mother-in-law, Frances Duncan of Caledonia, MS, brother-in-law, Dale Duncan of Caledonia, MS, sister-in-law, Gale (Lynn) Dawkins of Columbus, MS, dear friends, Rod and Margie Huntress of Lawrenceberg, TN, Darian Brooker of Memphis, TN, Frances Rector of Columbus, MS, Roger and Deanne Kinsley of Lawrenceberg, TN, Glenda McPherson of Paragould, AR, and a host of other friends and relatives.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Duncan, Casey Duncan, Dale Duncan, Tony Mulligan, Lynn Dawkins, and Hank Gunter. Honarary pallbearers will be Rod Huntress, Lance Dawkins, Ben Hurt, Jeremy Story, Benny Coleman, employees of Cash & Carry Building Supply, and the Flint Hill Methodist Church Family. Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.0
